JESUS is giving us victory

This week was one to be remembered. We had our Friend promise that got baptised on satuday, her story is really awesome and it's amazing how powerful the book of Mormon is,

Promise lives with a family that has recently moved into our Ward, elder sundwall and I helped them move in, and while we were moving in we got talking with promise about baptism.
She is a very strong christian but has never been baptised. She moved to France and started to go with the world more than with God. She found her self being directed by God. She moved in with the family, and met us. The night after we talked all she could think about was baptism and Jesus Christ.
We had our first meeting and we have her the Book or Mormon. She started reading that night and she stated crying she was so touched with the Holy Ghost. Ever since then she has been commited and feasts on the book of Mormon and the bible. She has presented this wonderful news to her friends and one of her friends Monday will be getting baptised this Saturday as well. The power of book of Mormon is so real. When someone starts to read the book they will feel the love of God and the love of God's plan.

We have been getting ready for christmas, we had  a big conference on Wednesday, and after we had an awesome African Bday party with promises family!

Haha the Lord is blessing us and he is giving us victory.
I'm grateful for the time I've had at Ecully to see this ward grow and get to love all these people.

MERRY CHRISTMAS. LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY.  GOOD HEALTH.
 Love you all!

I'm not sure I like spices

HEYY! I hope you've all had a great week this last week! It's been good here and it was an awesome pday, we just found an awesome basketball court to go play on. Reminder me of the RF days.

This up comming week will be the baptism of our friend named Promise. She is very faithful to God and as I've been able to work with her and her family it's been so amazing the faith they have for Jesus Christ and anything of God her story is very interesting and I'll be putting that in next week.

So as for the title. This week we were teaching promise. The family is African. And they made us lunch. She had already put spices in it. And then one of the kids wanted a little more kick and threw in more spices. Very bad. Forced to finish it.

Keep her In your prayers as she is making many sacrifices for her baptism.

We had our Ward Christmas party, I AM SO EXCITRD FOR CHRISTMAS! EVERYONE CHRIST WSS BORN ACCOMLISHING SOOO MANY PROPHESIES AND PROMISES.  Because of him we can have everlasting life. He is the light and hope for all of us!

Love you all!

Éternel est notre club

First week of the new transfer and got started with alot of things going on, last Monday we had to be at the train station all day getting all the missionaries to their respective cities we said goodbye to the departing missionaries which is always sad, but full of joy and they have finish their part in this great battle. We then got to see some of the new missionaries that came in, with them ready to take the suite. I was able to go on a rapid split with a new missionary from Spain. Spanish is such an awesome language, he's a monster contacter already as he was talking to each person he could on the bus.

After that was done we had some other elders that were comming to stay the next day. We did an exchange with them, had an awesome meeting with promise(the sister of a new family that moved in)we gave her a book of Mormon and she said that she read the chapters we gave her and she started crying and she said she can't stop thinking about being baptised.

The next day we had some more splits with some good friends elder schulzke and Elder eklund. Both from Canada and weapons for the lords work. We saw samoly(our recent convert) and prepared him to bless the sacrement, which he did this past Sunday.

We met with Amen. Our ami who hasn't been baptised yet and been going to church and everything for over 1 year. Elder Sundwall and I have been drilling and digging deep to get him baptised with the proper authority. He was baptised at age 19, in the protestant church. He is 23 and believes that his baptism was valid. Now don't mistake that this experience isn't hard. Telling a strong believer of Christ that his baptism wasnt correct. But what blessing it is to be told that from 2 young men from the only true church that holds the authority. I know that this church is the only chruch of Jesus Christ. The powers of the priesthood were restored. Don't ever doute that or look else where for the joy that it brings.

This week I met a man from Venezuela. I always love talking to southern Americans. Open, and loving. Plus the Spanish part:) so awesome.

We had thanksgiving with a very sweet recent convert Amandine. She had 2 ward families over, all 6 missionaries, and another one of her friends. Very good companies and food.

My brothers and sisters I'm grateful to be on a mission in this great time. I know God lives. Faith in JESUS CHRIST, and only him, is what is going to get the through this life to the next.

I love you all! Take care,
And sing lots of Christmas songs for me cause Christmas is so soon.
LIGHT THE WORLD.

This week as working and visiting some of the families we love. Therese and her kids, with the new family from Nigeria, and I was realising how important the family is for the growth of every individual. There are some very strong youth that we are working is and it's because their parents were there to guide them. I'm grateful for my family and the things I have learned from their examples.

Felix our recent convert had a PtSD attack a few weeks ago and has been in a hospital for try and help him. Its been rough for his family but his testimony is growing and strong and he is sharing the testimony everywhere he is. Please offer a prayer for him!

Desert songs

Hey everyone:) I guess to start off a little update in life, I'm in my 11th transfer, out of 16. I've got about 7 month that are left. Wow. It's going by fast. Learning alot of things. Learning how to care for others, and learning more about who i am. My role as a child of God.

This week was very good, very busy. So we have alot of friends that are African. We had a meeting with one this week. For most of the immigrants and most Africans that are here in France, there is one path that they take to get here, they cross the desert, with only what they can bring, after crossing the desert they are put onto a boat very small boat and brought to Italy or another country close. Our friends, all tell us there there is no way to make it through that if you are not believing and have God help you. These are some of greatest examples of faith that I know. Is my friends that have done this. Who knows. One day I might have to go try it.

Hahaha karma story.
We were walking on the road go to see a our friend AMEN. Some man on his scooter started yelling at us, but we just kept walking and all. 2 seconds after we hear a big crash, he had crashed into a car going the other directions so we run over and help him and all, he was fine but the other car wasn't. Haha gave it a flat tire.

Then just after the lesson we had. We were walking down some slippery stairs and I said to my comp, how many people do you Think have slipped on these stairs, and just as I said that he slipped and fell and got pretty hurt, haha But it was pretty funny.
Anyways. Life's good. Take a look at Dallin H oaks lastest talk. Very good and true:)

LOVE YOU ALL!

Il est le cadeau Xoxo

Heyoo everyone! I hope everyones doing Very well!
We had a good week here in Ecully Lyon France! Im not sure if I told everyone but bref we found a miracle friend, she had been praying to find a church and people that she could pray with. We started teaching her and found out that she lived out of our sector but in another sector. So we passed her but see her and call her often to see how she's doing, she's got a baptismal date for Nov 10, that's be awesome if you could pray for her!
We saw Felix and kemi and all of the recent convert this week, taught them about the holy ghost and the priesthood .
This week was stake conference and there was some very inspired things shared.
"You're only as happy as you are grateful"
"2 reason in life of why we are not happy, we don't know the truth, or we don't live the truth"

Next super awesomething that happens was our recent convert Samoly, the night of his baptism he had the most real and palpable dream of his life. He was at a very white and neat place helping guide and direct workers. After him describing his dream, we showed him picture of temples, he said that the bern Swiss temple was where is dream was. It was such a cool experience to watch as God has his hand and really is guiding this man's life because he is so willing and ready to be guided.

Love you all! Have a good week:) God is good!

Elder Dallen Bennett

HEYY mom! Sunday was very good and we had our stake conference. So that was awesome to see alot of members and also invite alot of our friends there!

Exciting about your recital tomorrow! I hope it will good and i ver tyran le super excited To Play her song. I listened to that song alot this week cause it was so good!

This week was kind of crazy. Really weird stuff happened. We had a new missionary come and join us in the work because he was really struggling from anxiety and stress. So he came over to work but also get away from stuff. But holy that was such a crazy experience. He was really freaking out and just passing back and forth all day and night. Was were trying to talk to him and he expressed that he was having suicidal feelings. So my training and stuff from hope squad came in handy and so we called President. Let him know. The kid got to call his parents and talk with them till 1 in the morning. Next day. At 6h30 am he was up and pacing again. We just decided we had to get him out and keep him busy so President gave us permission to go and visit some of the cool places in Lyon. (Because President was in Swiss and wasn't able to come back till the night for and interview with him) . He had his interview and was feeling so happy to be going home. It was really sad and a crazy experience.. But hey. We are all alive and having a good time:) but it just showed me how real anxiety is and stress can effect people. I hope on jubs mission he never has to deal with that!

Other than that it was was good week and we all just got down the work and found some cool people:) jaja I'll put in more details about my week in the weekly:)

I Love you mom! Thanks for all you do! :)

Baptism

Hello Everyone this week was fantastic! We had alot to do in getting prepared for a baptisms for one of our friends Samoly. He was so smooth. He understood everything, and was all ready starting to share and teach others! Haha he was able to get baptised this Friday. I'll send some picture. He's a great example of how to be obedient and be guided by God. God is guiding us and we all need to search for that.
His story, very simple. He did some studies in russa, was contacted my missionaries there. He finished he's studies there and moved to France, he then gets contacted here, follows and learns lessons. Keeps ALL of his commitments. A very big example for us all!
After this weekend we were able to see an apostle of the Lord! ELDER COOK!  It was so awesome he was so Inspired and it was just what I needed! I know God is there, that his son came, and was sacrificed for us. We can all have happiness because of him! God has called a prophet to guide us! God is good. ALL the time! I would love to hear from you all! Have a good week!

HEYY MOM!
I'm doing very good today! Honestly the elder cook conference was so amazing! It really helped my testimony and my faith of being a son of God with a plan for me and to have confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ. He really said so many amazing this about Jesus and his work  it was awesome

The bapsrims went super well! I was able to do his baptism and he was so ready. We did it once and after we says. Que Dieu soit loué. Which means that God be praised. Haha he then at church and at his baptism was teaching people about his baptism! And it was on the 19th as well! So that was fun! On your anniversary!
THe stuff that you and dad did seemed so fun! That's the goal! So aweosme!
I Got some stuff last week and it was good!
I was going to ask you also for my list of all my password and stuff! Haha I sent it to you along time ago!

We feel your prayers!

Hello everyone! This week we had so many cool things happen!
God answers our prayers!
This week, on comming of the metro I just gave a simple smile to this lady walking next to me , she saw my badge and was so excited! She told us that she has been praying for a week to find someone she can pray with and learn about God with! We invited her to a member RDV, and she was free and came with us! She got along very well with the member because they come from the same country and speak Portuguese! She came to church and really liked it! She wanted to bear her testimony and share the story of how God helped us meet and her testimony of how prayers are answered!

We also worked alot with our friend named Samoly. He's a man who has such good obedience. He loves God and is so ready to follow! He is ready to be baptised for this Friday!

And this next Saturday! ELDER COOK IS COMMING TO THE MISSION!  That's going to be so awesome. We try prepare for him and we have read all of his talks he has gave! Ah it's going to be so good and he is so Inspired. Some themes I have noticed is how much he loves the Lord. And how much it is our duty to be our brothers keeper. To help everyone out. And most importantly. That the family is the most important. To have an eternal family is the Goal!

I love you all!!

Elder Dallen Bennett

Hiii mom!
That's so awesome! It's amazing you're able to find people there! I remmebr Elder Hayes, when I was in Yverdon would sit on my genealogy for 4 hours trying to find people but he couldn't! That's so awesome!

Haha yeah.. I've still got to send that picture to the doctors. Ha I'll get that to him this week!

Ahh that's so awesome 27 years of happy marriage! That is the goal of life:)

Wow! 2 injuries this season! Dang that's hard, he needs to make sure he's taking care of himself, that's scary! Yah usually the MCL only needs to be operated if it's completely torn or very badly hurt. That's to bad. I will keep that in my prayers!

This week is sop big! We have been working with a man named samoly who is so obedient and ready to be baptised! He will be baptised this Friday! And so that's super exciting! We will also this Saturday BE HAVING A CONFERECNE FROM AN APOSTLE OF THE LORD ELDER COOK! THAT ITS GOING TO BE SOOO AWESOME!

Love you mom! I'll send you some pics though Facebook and all!
I think I'll be getting a long sleep shirt at the story and maybe some shoes soon:) haha my echos are doing good work for me:)

Elder Bennett ^^

Hey you guys! I hope you had an awesome week and got To see the hand of God in your life's!

-The story of Felix and kemi
Felix born on Ghana and kemi born in Nigeria. They pass there lives loving God. Kemis dad is a pastor.  Kemis parents trust Felix and They meet and Get married. Because of difficult living they decide to leave and go to Europe. They cross the desert with their baby who has 1 year old. They pray and worship God even in the desert with not much food or water. They make it to the ocean. Get onto a boat and they are all put closely together on a boat. 2 miles out they start to sink. They all get on deck and see helicopter who came to save them all. Felix told me it was his best moment in his life. When he saw the helicopter. He was so close to dying but God saved him. They get to Italy and go to church to worship God. They are badly treated because they wernt "Like all the others" in cloths and language and stuff. They come to France. Middle of January with 2 kids now. Sleep at the train station in the cold with 2 little children. Still thanking God. They find a place to live. Meet missionaries on the bus, follow lessons. While we were gping to lessons felix would contact people in bussss and trams to invite peolle to leaen about god with us. ( really finny cause he doesnt speak french.so he walks up to people and says. Bonjour ... you speak english? )Get baptised this past Saturday. President and elder sundwall were ale to baptise. It was awesome because President baptised Felix in his native language Twi. Sunday they got the holy ghost and I was able to do the confirmation for kemi.
Satuday night we get a call and they already start missionary work. They invited there friends in Italy and Ghana to go to the church of God. Wow. These people have showed me alot of what it means to be a true follower of Christ. We can understand the bible by watching how they live. We can get to know better our brother Jesus Christ. By the way they treat others and trust God. Let us all be followers of Christ. So people understand the bible and book of Mormon with our having read it. So they feel the love of Christ. With out having ever heard his name.

We saw alot of other family's that our super in this ward. Ecully rocks. Haha

Love you all. Love to hear from you all! Have a good week!

Hii mom! Sounds m
Like you were you able to have a good week and do tag! Haha I bet hux loved it. It's funny cause in French cotton candy is barbe de papa. Which means dad's beard. Haha

Yes everything went so good! KEMI AND FELIX GOT BAPTISED! they were sooo happy and it was such a great experience! I was so happy to be able to be apart of that and see them change. They are such a cool family!

For legality we just kinda had to give a bunch of papers and stuff and then we got let in easy haha
But crazy story we left Tuesday night to go cause we had the car with another elder who was going with us. He came to Lyon. Forgot his stuff so that night we drove back to his house and didn't get back till 12. The. Had to leave at 4 to travel across the country in car to get our stuff. Haha President knew what we were doing we were just really tired and stuff! Haha
I talked to President about my hernia. I got it checked and the doc said that I had one, but so I'll be getting it ultra sounded tomorrow at 14h. Haha so that's Gunna be interesting.

Hope dad and Jorden will be safe! Haha Connyr is still down in UVU?
Love you mom! Thanks for all you do!

Im excited to follow Jesus

Hello everyone:)
This week was alot of running around here in Ecully, we had some exchanges here with some of our elders who are so funny, they are always bickering, but they have a good time. We got to help an aweosme member family and we had some very good spiritual moments with them.

We went to 2 baptisms this week and they were so excited and so funny! We've been preparing for baptisms of our friends Felix and Camille! Camille was so excited after her interview she started singing, "I'm excited to follow Jesus".

I continue to grow and learn how much God loves us. And how constant the atonement is. There are so many different situations and it adapts to every single on of our situations.  If you get a chance you'll have to see all the stories I write in my journal that people have told us. Sorry but here in email you don't get 2% of what I learn. Haha but pray for our friends! I pray for you all! Keep up the good work!

Love,

Elder Bennett
