Les cuisses de grenouilles

Transfers:12 weeks left:training: Good evening everyone!
This week was bitter sweet, elder miller and mine last week in poitiers. Elder west will be staying that taking care of all of our amis that we have progressing towards the sweet waters of baptism.

We spend some time with one of our amis, she had received a strong prompting that she needed to have us meet her daughter and introduce her to the church of Jesus Christ.  We had a sweet meeting and we able to feel the spirit toghether.

This week I was able to confer the priesthood upon Hervé. To the office of a priest. It was a powerful and moving experience I was privileged to participate in.

We found some very cool people week, one man from the Congo and he had an auntie that was part of the church of Jesus Christ. The man read when he was younger the book of Mormon and has always been curious. We taught him the first lesson and after he came to church as well.

Cool story: a man who refereed him self while I was in talence, I was able to start teaching him, and we have him a book of Mormon. Then he kinda dropped off the earth after the 2nd meeting. But elder Osborne went into Bordeaux and this man starred comming to church and meeting the missionaries also. He said that the first day he got the book of Mormon he felt a very strong opposition to read the book of Mormon. He got though it and read it a little. But dropped off the earth.
But he will be getting baptised this Friday:) happy for him!

God is Good. He supports us.
Love you all:)

Ce que Dieu a fait pour moi, je ne peux pas tout raconter

Good afternoon brother and sisters, i hope you are all doing great, this week in poitiers France we had an awesome week full for blessings.

Hervé and charlotte got baptised and confiremed! It was great to be able to meet them and teach them, see how much God has prepared them,
It started out by meeting them on the bus and then right after showing them the chapel which they don't love far away from. Hervé had all ready met the church from his home country in  the ivry cost but never had been. We were able to show them around and set up another meeting for the week. After our first meeting we learned this week that him and his wife after we had left our first lessons they looked at eachother stunned for about 5 minutes because they had found what they were looking for.
Both of their baptisms were great and they felt so much joy. I know God prepared people.  As missionaries is our job to find those who are ready, and as us as members it's our job to invite our friends to come and see.

We have another few friends that are progressing very well, they are receiving answers to their prayers and we are excited to see them acting on their inspirations.

Love you all:) last week of this transfer. Have a good one

First time for all things

Good morning! I hope you're doing great things here in poitiers are doing great! Let's get started!

Last Monday night we headed over to Hervé and Charlotte's home, we had set out to give a lesson to teach the word of wisdom, as we got in we let conversation take it's way following the spirit and teaching to their needs, we needed up giving Hervé his first priesthood blessing of his life. They are in a situation difficult in their life and they are learning on Jesus Christ. Amazing examples of Faith:)

We had a pancake party with some members from Brazil. We had a great time making these cakes and during the activity the lady wanted to teach me Portuguese by singing Portuguese gospel songs🤣🤣 we had alot of fun with them and a few youth in the branch.

We had some great finds this week and some aw3some people call and want to have a meeting with us.

Elder Miller and I gave a talk in church yesterday, I talked about true faith in jesus christ. Having faith in jesus christ means having faith that he is our Lord and personal savior .  I testify that he is and that he gives us peace and joy.

Love you all:) have fun doing the program this week:)

It's Gunna take you all day to clean that.

Good morning / afternoon,
I hope you are all doing great.
Here in poitiers we are seeing so many blessing of God.
We were able to have alot of our friends at church and accept baptismal dates and also work toward these dates.
A few amazing people we worked with this week,
Marianne- she was a miracle find form last week, we had 2 meeting with her and she really has alot of faith, and understands the need for a prophet. During our 2nd meeting she randomly asked us how to be baptised because she has had many questions on that. That was amazing and she came to church.

Herve and charlotte- they are keeping all their engagements and herve was sick yesterday but came to church so he could stay on track to be baptised with his wife. It was amazing.

Yichen-she is a lady with whom I talked to the first day here in poitier. She comes to church everyday and she invited us over to have some Korean food. Yummy. She isn't quite sure if she believe in God but she is learning a lot at church and while we are with her.

Panwang- she is so funny. A cute little Chinese girl who is really committed to the church. We are seeing the spirit work with her and testify of truths as she asks.

Somethings I really have been learning is faith and blessings, God can only bless us when we are obedient.  He cannot force us to have good things or bad things. In this great plan of happiness we all will get what we want. Happiness and joy come from and only in jesus christ. When we have faith in jesus christ we ACT in faith to receive blessings from Jesus Christ. I testify that he is real and that he works along side of us.

Love you all:)

God answers prayers

Haha this week was packed full of things happening and new things starting.

One awesome experience that happened that was so great,  was we were going to a meeting with a returning member and on the way we talked to a lady, who invited us to go sit down with her and talk about our message. As we talked with her and shared the experience of Joseph Smith. And she asked us to share our testimonies of how we knew this was true. After I asked her why she wanted to know, and she then told us that she had been praying that morning to have more direction and to know that God loves her, and that day she meets a few young missionaries for the church of Jesus Christ. It is a testimony that God knows and guides his work.

I know that Jesus Christ is our Lord and personal savior. With him we have joy and peace.

I love you all!

Nana!

A la prochaine Ecully

Happy New transfer everyone:)
This week is transfers and I'll be tranfered out of Ecully. After being there for half a year! We had some great times:) I'll be moving near Bordeaux again to a ville called angouleme and poitier. I'm super excited to see these see the work of the Lord in these sectors.

This last week we spent alot of time seeing some progressing Amis and visiting recent converts. Haha it was super great one day, with all our Nigerian converts. We had a a mass bible study. Haha the converts brought like 8 people that we all taught the bible and book of Mormon. It was really great and they were able to feel the spirit and ask many questions that they have.

We visited a family from Colombia. It's amazing how God uses the skills that we have. As we were walking to go to the house. We were with the husband and we contacted a lady. Who was from Mexico and spoke Spanish. So our member from Colombia really did alot. This family bastidas is a example family. So great:)

We had an exchange in gap and went finding all day. It was honestly cool to see the amount of people listen to our message:)

We gave samoly a gift , it was huge photo of Jesus Christ and we put it in his house. He loved it and we want his favourite song. It was a touching moment.

God's work is real. It is his work.
Love you all!

Elder andersen, matt and alpha

Hello you guys! Hope you're all doing very well! This week we had a great week with plenty of tender mercies.

One major event is from ELDER ANDERSEN. He was once a mission President in the Bordeaux mission, he came and visited the mission, to instruct and support us. It was a very great conference, it was great to learn from one of the Lords chosen servants. He talked about about inner faith and letting that go and build us up:) as I've been thinking alot about that. About BEing in the the church and not just in the programs. Such and Be in the faith and not just in the program. It was great and the spirit was really there. I testify he is an apostle of Jesus Christ.

This week, a man named Matt was contacted. He's really special and has been prepared by the Lord. Keep praying for him please and he will continue following Jesus Christ.
He got up at 4 Sunday morning just to come to church with us and learn. It's really awesome to see the sacrifices that he made to develop his faith.

God is good, all the time!

Love you guys!

Chinese buffet 😛

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all doing wonderful.

Elder Abbott and I have been seeing many blessing from the hand of the Lord! In our mission we have standards of excellence and that is where each team is encouraged to fine 4 new people to teach, bring 2 nonmembers to church, engage 1 person each week to baptism, and by the end of each transfer have 1 baptism:) as we have been working on this we have really been focusing most of our efforts on faith in jesus christ to find, meaning that God has prepared people to receive the message, that God will put the words in your mouth. I've really learned how necessary faith is in every aspect of life.

We have a few really cool stories of people we have met and the way God is blessing us,

There are some Main people that our team is working with, we have 2 Nigerians who are preparing for their baptism. I have learned how necessary it is to follow the spirit. For each of our friends.
Jesus has left us his spirit to guide us and leave us his truth. We must follow the spirit if we want to have eternal joy. Both of these people are friends of our recent convert and as they pray we can feel the sincerity and during lessons we can feel the spirit being changed and lifted up.

We went over to Therese house and with her and her family we make the title of liberty. We all put something that we will defend and then each one of us signed the banner. It was a powerful experience to see the gospel change lives back in the day, and now. The gospel is eternal and universal.

How far? Wetin dey happin

Good afternoon and a happy New year. I hope everything good out there!

We woke up this morning and played some awesome ball, we found these awesome courts that are under a roof so we can go play in the winter! Good days back. @EM @SC @BH

Well this week we some so many miracles. One man opoku Felix revived the priesthood yesterday. After being baptised, have to worry about his family and going through a sickness he was ready to get the priesthood of Aaron. He was going to the bus stop, and missed the bus to get the church. When he saw that he said he needed to get to church and was willing to do anything necessary. Just then as he said a simple prayer in his heart a members car came down the road. He was the members face and invited him to catch a ride. God is good. All the time and he got the priesthood and he was so happy he was jumping with joy.

God is very good.

As we have done the first come and follow me, I've really realised the importance of invitations.
Invitations in missionary work is the only way to work. We will see people progress if we give them invitations for them to excerise their faith.

I know god lives,
Jesus is our savoir.

Love you all:)

JESUS is giving us victory

This week was one to be remembered. We had our Friend promise that got baptised on satuday, her story is really awesome and it's amazing how powerful the book of Mormon is,

Promise lives with a family that has recently moved into our Ward, elder sundwall and I helped them move in, and while we were moving in we got talking with promise about baptism.
She is a very strong christian but has never been baptised. She moved to France and started to go with the world more than with God. She found her self being directed by God. She moved in with the family, and met us. The night after we talked all she could think about was baptism and Jesus Christ.
We had our first meeting and we have her the Book or Mormon. She started reading that night and she stated crying she was so touched with the Holy Ghost. Ever since then she has been commited and feasts on the book of Mormon and the bible. She has presented this wonderful news to her friends and one of her friends Monday will be getting baptised this Saturday as well. The power of book of Mormon is so real. When someone starts to read the book they will feel the love of God and the love of God's plan.

We have been getting ready for christmas, we had  a big conference on Wednesday, and after we had an awesome African Bday party with promises family!

Haha the Lord is blessing us and he is giving us victory.
I'm grateful for the time I've had at Ecully to see this ward grow and get to love all these people.

MERRY CHRISTMAS. LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY.  GOOD HEALTH.
 Love you all!

I'm not sure I like spices

HEYY! I hope you've all had a great week this last week! It's been good here and it was an awesome pday, we just found an awesome basketball court to go play on. Reminder me of the RF days.

This up comming week will be the baptism of our friend named Promise. She is very faithful to God and as I've been able to work with her and her family it's been so amazing the faith they have for Jesus Christ and anything of God her story is very interesting and I'll be putting that in next week.

So as for the title. This week we were teaching promise. The family is African. And they made us lunch. She had already put spices in it. And then one of the kids wanted a little more kick and threw in more spices. Very bad. Forced to finish it.

Keep her In your prayers as she is making many sacrifices for her baptism.

We had our Ward Christmas party, I AM SO EXCITRD FOR CHRISTMAS! EVERYONE CHRIST WSS BORN ACCOMLISHING SOOO MANY PROPHESIES AND PROMISES.  Because of him we can have everlasting life. He is the light and hope for all of us!

Love you all!
