Elder andersen, matt and alpha

Hello you guys! Hope you're all doing very well! This week we had a great week with plenty of tender mercies.

One major event is from ELDER ANDERSEN. He was once a mission President in the Bordeaux mission, he came and visited the mission, to instruct and support us. It was a very great conference, it was great to learn from one of the Lords chosen servants. He talked about about inner faith and letting that go and build us up:) as I've been thinking alot about that. About BEing in the the church and not just in the programs. Such and Be in the faith and not just in the program. It was great and the spirit was really there. I testify he is an apostle of Jesus Christ.

This week, a man named Matt was contacted. He's really special and has been prepared by the Lord. Keep praying for him please and he will continue following Jesus Christ.
He got up at 4 Sunday morning just to come to church with us and learn. It's really awesome to see the sacrifices that he made to develop his faith.

God is good, all the time!

Love you guys!

Chinese buffet 😛

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all doing wonderful.

Elder Abbott and I have been seeing many blessing from the hand of the Lord! In our mission we have standards of excellence and that is where each team is encouraged to fine 4 new people to teach, bring 2 nonmembers to church, engage 1 person each week to baptism, and by the end of each transfer have 1 baptism:) as we have been working on this we have really been focusing most of our efforts on faith in jesus christ to find, meaning that God has prepared people to receive the message, that God will put the words in your mouth. I've really learned how necessary faith is in every aspect of life.

We have a few really cool stories of people we have met and the way God is blessing us,

There are some Main people that our team is working with, we have 2 Nigerians who are preparing for their baptism. I have learned how necessary it is to follow the spirit. For each of our friends.
Jesus has left us his spirit to guide us and leave us his truth. We must follow the spirit if we want to have eternal joy. Both of these people are friends of our recent convert and as they pray we can feel the sincerity and during lessons we can feel the spirit being changed and lifted up.

We went over to Therese house and with her and her family we make the title of liberty. We all put something that we will defend and then each one of us signed the banner. It was a powerful experience to see the gospel change lives back in the day, and now. The gospel is eternal and universal.

How far? Wetin dey happin

Good afternoon and a happy New year. I hope everything good out there!

We woke up this morning and played some awesome ball, we found these awesome courts that are under a roof so we can go play in the winter! Good days back. @EM @SC @BH

Well this week we some so many miracles. One man opoku Felix revived the priesthood yesterday. After being baptised, have to worry about his family and going through a sickness he was ready to get the priesthood of Aaron. He was going to the bus stop, and missed the bus to get the church. When he saw that he said he needed to get to church and was willing to do anything necessary. Just then as he said a simple prayer in his heart a members car came down the road. He was the members face and invited him to catch a ride. God is good. All the time and he got the priesthood and he was so happy he was jumping with joy.

God is very good.

As we have done the first come and follow me, I've really realised the importance of invitations.
Invitations in missionary work is the only way to work. We will see people progress if we give them invitations for them to excerise their faith.

I know god lives,
Jesus is our savoir.

Love you all:)

JESUS is giving us victory

This week was one to be remembered. We had our Friend promise that got baptised on satuday, her story is really awesome and it's amazing how powerful the book of Mormon is,

Promise lives with a family that has recently moved into our Ward, elder sundwall and I helped them move in, and while we were moving in we got talking with promise about baptism.
She is a very strong christian but has never been baptised. She moved to France and started to go with the world more than with God. She found her self being directed by God. She moved in with the family, and met us. The night after we talked all she could think about was baptism and Jesus Christ.
We had our first meeting and we have her the Book or Mormon. She started reading that night and she stated crying she was so touched with the Holy Ghost. Ever since then she has been commited and feasts on the book of Mormon and the bible. She has presented this wonderful news to her friends and one of her friends Monday will be getting baptised this Saturday as well. The power of book of Mormon is so real. When someone starts to read the book they will feel the love of God and the love of God's plan.

We have been getting ready for christmas, we had  a big conference on Wednesday, and after we had an awesome African Bday party with promises family!

Haha the Lord is blessing us and he is giving us victory.
I'm grateful for the time I've had at Ecully to see this ward grow and get to love all these people.

MERRY CHRISTMAS. LONG LIFE AND PROSPERITY.  GOOD HEALTH.
 Love you all!

I'm not sure I like spices

HEYY! I hope you've all had a great week this last week! It's been good here and it was an awesome pday, we just found an awesome basketball court to go play on. Reminder me of the RF days.

This up comming week will be the baptism of our friend named Promise. She is very faithful to God and as I've been able to work with her and her family it's been so amazing the faith they have for Jesus Christ and anything of God her story is very interesting and I'll be putting that in next week.

So as for the title. This week we were teaching promise. The family is African. And they made us lunch. She had already put spices in it. And then one of the kids wanted a little more kick and threw in more spices. Very bad. Forced to finish it.

Keep her In your prayers as she is making many sacrifices for her baptism.

We had our Ward Christmas party, I AM SO EXCITRD FOR CHRISTMAS! EVERYONE CHRIST WSS BORN ACCOMLISHING SOOO MANY PROPHESIES AND PROMISES.  Because of him we can have everlasting life. He is the light and hope for all of us!

Love you all!

I hope everyone is safe and doing good! Love you all!

Éternel est notre club

First week of the new transfer and got started with alot of things going on, last Monday we had to be at the train station all day getting all the missionaries to their respective cities we said goodbye to the departing missionaries which is always sad, but full of joy and they have finish their part in this great battle. We then got to see some of the new missionaries that came in, with them ready to take the suite. I was able to go on a rapid split with a new missionary from Spain. Spanish is such an awesome language, he's a monster contacter already as he was talking to each person he could on the bus.

After that was done we had some other elders that were comming to stay the next day. We did an exchange with them, had an awesome meeting with promise(the sister of a new family that moved in)we gave her a book of Mormon and she said that she read the chapters we gave her and she started crying and she said she can't stop thinking about being baptised.

The next day we had some more splits with some good friends elder schulzke and Elder eklund. Both from Canada and weapons for the lords work. We saw samoly(our recent convert) and prepared him to bless the sacrement, which he did this past Sunday.

We met with Amen. Our ami who hasn't been baptised yet and been going to church and everything for over 1 year. Elder Sundwall and I have been drilling and digging deep to get him baptised with the proper authority. He was baptised at age 19, in the protestant church. He is 23 and believes that his baptism was valid. Now don't mistake that this experience isn't hard. Telling a strong believer of Christ that his baptism wasnt correct. But what blessing it is to be told that from 2 young men from the only true church that holds the authority. I know that this church is the only chruch of Jesus Christ. The powers of the priesthood were restored. Don't ever doute that or look else where for the joy that it brings.

This week I met a man from Venezuela. I always love talking to southern Americans. Open, and loving. Plus the Spanish part:) so awesome.

We had thanksgiving with a very sweet recent convert Amandine. She had 2 ward families over, all 6 missionaries, and another one of her friends. Very good companies and food.

My brothers and sisters I'm grateful to be on a mission in this great time. I know God lives. Faith in JESUS CHRIST, and only him, is what is going to get the through this life to the next.

I love you all! Take care,
And sing lots of Christmas songs for me cause Christmas is so soon.
LIGHT THE WORLD.

Staying for the holidays

Hey y'all! Holidays are coming up and got our transfer calls! Elder sundwall and I will be staying another 6 weeks helping and inviting to come unto Jesus Christ here in Ecully!

This week as working and visiting some of the families we love. Therese and her kids, with the new family from Nigeria, and I was realising how important the family is for the growth of every individual. There are some very strong youth that we are working is and it's because their parents were there to guide them. I'm grateful for my family and the things I have learned from their examples.

Felix our recent convert had a PtSD attack a few weeks ago and has been in a hospital for try and help him. Its been rough for his family but his testimony is growing and strong and he is sharing the testimony everywhere he is. Please offer a prayer for him!

I'm grateful for you all. Really, your examples are shaping me! Keep up the good work!
Love you all!

Desert songs

Hey everyone:) I guess to start off a little update in life, I'm in my 11th transfer, out of 16. I've got about 7 month that are left. Wow. It's going by fast. Learning alot of things. Learning how to care for others, and learning more about who i am. My role as a child of God.

This week was very good, very busy. So we have alot of friends that are African. We had a meeting with one this week. For most of the immigrants and most Africans that are here in France, there is one path that they take to get here, they cross the desert, with only what they can bring, after crossing the desert they are put onto a boat very small boat and brought to Italy or another country close. Our friends, all tell us there there is no way to make it through that if you are not believing and have God help you. These are some of greatest examples of faith that I know. Is my friends that have done this. Who knows. One day I might have to go try it.

Hahaha karma story.
We were walking on the road go to see a our friend AMEN. Some man on his scooter started yelling at us, but we just kept walking and all. 2 seconds after we hear a big crash, he had crashed into a car going the other directions so we run over and help him and all, he was fine but the other car wasn't. Haha gave it a flat tire.

Then just after the lesson we had. We were walking down some slippery stairs and I said to my comp, how many people do you Think have slipped on these stairs, and just as I said that he slipped and fell and got pretty hurt, haha But it was pretty funny.
Anyways. Life's good. Take a look at Dallin H oaks lastest talk. Very good and true:)

LOVE YOU ALL!
